Atop a barren bluff overlooking
the Columbia River Gorge sits Sam Hill's Stonehenge
replica. Built by the wealthy road building executive,
the World War I Memorial was dedicated in 1918, the
first of its kind.
Admission is free for this mesmerizing
monument and the view from the top majestic. If you
find yourself traversing the Washington/Oregon border
don't pass it by.
