in St. Louis? The answer: you simply do not.

Forever continued their historic season
with yet another classic performance. From Rachel
to Randy, Johnson
to Fun Pants, Alexis
to the Joel Dogs, our paparazzi
for the day, it was our time to shine. And shine did
we ever, like the power of a thousand suns!
A 200+ average
by Matt of Big Balls + Nice Racks = XXX
would mean big trouble for your average
team, but not Sunset Forever.
Oh hell no! Instead of being intimidated by Matt's endless stream
of strikes, Sunset Forever paid
him no mind, sticking to the task and creating an entirely different
equation in the process: a balanced team attack + unstoppable
will = total domination and Sunset Forever
as the #2 seed in next week's playoffs. To the house!!!
The highlights
from Week 05 were plentiful. Randy shook
off an opening frame gutter ball with a scintilating 165/166
double. Somehow he managed to socialize, nail tons of strikes,
and not drink a sip until the fifth frame. Now that's
superstar discipline. Rachel was
likewise in fine form, tempering her love affair with Jack
D. just long enough to secure a brilliant second game
and complete pummeling of Big Ball's
fairer gender, not to mention most of their guys as well. Fun
Pants was also lethal, thwarting the advice of her teammates
with an unorthodox yet effective final five frames in Game 01
that were breathtakingly phenomenal. Joey
Johnson, power walking his way onto the lanes just in
the nick of time, continued his nail biting timing and exceptional
season with yet another 157 two game average. Gadzooks! And
let's not forget Alexis, who, despite
feeling the burn of a V8 less Bloody Mary,
made every pin count upending Big Balls'
#2 lass in Game 02 securing Sunset Forever
a total pin count victory
and the #2 ranking in next week's playoffs. Dyn-o-mite!
And speaking
of next week, in just seven days Sunset
Forever shoots for the grand championship on the final
night ever for Sunset Bowl.
Can the dream team fulfill their destiny and walk out of Sunset
Bowl on its last night with a trophy in hand and the
lifelong status as the last champions in Sunset
Bowl history? If there is a God, then the answer is unquestionably
yes, yes, YESSSSSSS!!!!
