Week 03 proved
Heartbreak Hotel for our fearless
heroes, Sunset Forever as Big
Balls Long Pins took them down with a shocking, no mercy
for the weak, two game sweep. A potent female assault by a triumverate
of vixens proved the difference derailing Sunset
Forever's previously unblemished season in dramatic fashion
and setting the table for a dog fight over the four highly sought
after playoff spots.
Coming out
of the gate it was Small But Mighty Heidi
with her shiny maroon ball of
terror that put Sunset Forever
on the defensive. Coupled with Spin Master
Joe's typhoon curve and 182 pin count there was little
Sunset Forever could do than bide
their time until the mid-game drinnking
sabotage. A cluster of Irish Car
Bombs later and indeed, Heidi
and Joe were toast. But wait! Just
as the tide seemed to be changing in Sunset
Forever's favor, a reinvigorated Karen
and a hot-to-trot Tay, powered
by some kind of boozy brilliance, threw down the gauntlet scoring
in the upper echelon and securing their team an unlikely though
unquestionably emphatic destruction of their sneaky opponents.
Drats!
Even in defeat,
however, Sunset Forever was not
without their highlights. Randy "Lady
Killer" Harlow was in rare form, rebounding expertly
from his Thursday night birthday bowling
debauchery with an unheard of 176.5 average. Gadzooks!
Scott "Cougar Magnet" Muoio
wasn't that good, but he did manage a 151.5 average
while sipping his "Almost Paradise"
self-concocted yet delcious cocktail. No matter, when compared
to the estrogen onslaught of Big Balls
Long Pins it was all for naught. Maybe next time, boys.

These first timers to the Big Turkey Bowling Madness performed
admirably for Sunset Forever keeping
their heads above the 100 point echelon in the first and second
games, respectively. Ain't nothin' to be ashamed of there.
Next up for
Sunset Forever is a week off for
Easter and then battles against
the two most powerful teams in the league, Roy
Munson's Kids and some other team
with math in their name. Uh, oh. But as Sunset
Forever has shown in the past, just when you think they're
out, they've only just begun. We'll see you in two...
