How do you celebrate your birthday in Seattle
when the the Thursday Night Bowling League
is calling your name? Simple. Just follow this recipe: 6
variously exotic cocktail shots (1 Washington Apple (a.k.a.
The Jolly Rancher east of the Mississippi), 1 Caucasian, 1 Tequila,
and 2 Jagermeisters), 6 local brews,
a dozen Capital Hill style cupcakes,
1 Wallingford style cupcake with plastic
bowling man on top, enough helium
balloons to launch a small air ship, and the
determination and gusto to take it all in while heroically leading
your team to victory and maintaining a 159 two match average
in the process. Oh, and let's not forget
engaging in simultaneous conversations with nearly everyone
in the bowling alley.
Yes, my friends, anyone who knows him can attest, that triumphant
birthday experience is The Randy
Harlow Experience nearly any night of the week.
Simply put, on The Train of Good Times,
Randy is "The Man" and any experience is unquestionably
better when Randy's along for the ride.
For his outstanding contributions to good times,
amongst many other notable qualities, we salute you, Randy Harlow.
You are indeed a most generous man, week in and week out buying
round after round of shots for all who dare inbibe, an exceptional
bowler whose sage advice powers teammates and opponents alike,
and unquestionably the greatest social butterfly the world has
ever known. To meet him even once is to understand, Randy Harlow
is a great man.
We
sing your praises, Randy, and call out to you, "Spread
your wings and fly, fly, fly to the heavens and beyond, for
this world is too small to contain all your gloriousness!"

An army of shots... all part of the
Randy Harlow game plan!
