Half Pipe = Half the Flavor of a Good Variety

Hannah Teter's Maple Blondie

It's All Downhill

Read the label on Ben and Jerry's Maple Blondie and you will notice two peculiarities: Hannah Teter and "blonde brownie chunks." Who? What?

For those that don't remember, Hannah Teter is the two time Olympic snowboard half pipe medalist from Vermont. And blonde brownie chunks... well, I still have no idea about them but apparently they are the featured ingredient in B & J's rejuvenated maple dissapointment.

Bland maple ice cream plays host to said blonde brownie chunks while a maple caramel swirl adds some gooeyness to the concoction. Unfortunately, one element is less thrilling than the next resulting in a flavor that is average at best and sadly much more boring than the pint's initial promise. Even die hard maple lovers will be hard pressed to savor this variety - there's just not enough going on.
