Brick
Township, NJ: Safe City, Bad Spellers

Welcome to
Brick Township, New Jersey, a safe city but trouble with 'a' and
'i'.
Last November, my hometown of
Brick, NJ earned the #3 ranking in CQ Press's annual report of
America's safest cities. A proud accomplishment, for sure, yet
surpassed by my recent hidden discovery.
While on vacation last week in
Brick, I took a tour of my old neighborhood of Cherry Quay. Whle
walking the streets enjoying the fresh bay air and scenic suburban
sites, I noticed one particular street sign with a problem: bad
spelling. Check below the snapshots I captured and see if you
catch the error. Apparently, no one in Brick has... at least not
yet.

Well, at least they
got it half right!
