Brian
Kenny is the Best Sportscaster On the Planet

Brian Kenny (pictured
here) rules!!!
Brian Kenny is the best sportscaster
on television. As ESPN's jack of all trades, Kenny does it all
and does it well. His credits include anchor for the 6pm edition
of Sportscenter, the studio guru on Friday Night
Fights, moderator on the Ringside series, and host
of The Top 5 Reasons You Can't Blame...
Kenny is The Man because he is
sports knowledgable, an excellent moderator, a respectful yet
inquisitive interviewer/conversationalist, and very, very entertaining
without making himself the center of attention. Kenny understands
that the athletes he is talking about or to are the stars and
never does he try to upstage them. Instead, he provides excellent
insight while enhancing the experience of watching or listening
to them. And most impressively, he does all this while challenging
the athletes with tough questions yet presented in a respectful
rather than condescending manner.
Many may not be famliar with
Brian Kenny becasue of his focus on boxing and the less popular
6pm edition of Sportscenter, but take my word for it:
he is the best. If only more sports writers and casters followed
Kenny's lead, perhaps the dreadful world of sports reporting wouldn't
be the cesspool of loud mouthed look-at-me reporting that currently
sinks the profession.
