Creme Brulee is all I have to say

Creme Brulee

Butterscotch Haagen-dazs, anyone?

Rich and creamy buttery toffee. Crunchy, super sugary caramel. And that's about it. Ben and Jerry's Creme Brulee is a tasty treat but way overboard on the sugar and a bit boring as well.

Taste after taste the picture becomes crystal clear: this flavor reminds me of those little wrapped butterscotches you eat by the handfuls when visiting your grand mother. Admittedly, those are pretty darn good, as is the first taste of Creme Brulee, but both get old pretty darn quick. Still, it is obvious a lot of thought went into Creme Brulee as it tastes like top notch homemade ice cream even if the plainess doesn't quite cover the four dollar per pint cost.

Overall, Creme Brulee is a decadent though fairly average ice cream flavor that seems more like Haagen-dazs than Ben and Jerry's. If that's your thing than give this old sport a try. Otherwise, stick with your old standbys as Creme Brulee is definitely second team at best.
