Jackass Number 2 is stupid, idiotic fun.  Not so much a movie as it is an hour and a half of juvenile stuntmen performing ludicrous stunts and gags on themselves, their buddies, and sometimes even the general public, it succeeds in spite of its simplistic premise because it is chock full of inventive twists on your typical acts of danger and perversion.  Add to this the fact that a crack squad of entertaining and likable blokes carry out the stunts and are completely willing to make a fools of themselves and each other and you’ve got yourself a recipe for Grade-A doofus humour.

By no means a work of breathtaking cinematic genius, Jackass Number 2 can still take your breath away (for completely different reasons) and is about as good as something of this nature can get.  I laughed, you’ll laugh, and as far as ninety minutes of hee-haw diversion goes, Jackass Number 2 is surely worth the price of admission.
